Universal is seeking full time 2nd shift yard switchers!

Job Details:

• Work week schedule:
  Monday - Friday + occasional Saturdays
• Hours:
  
  3PM-11:30PM
• 2 weeks training on 1st shift: 6am-3pm
• 40 hours/week (Overtime after 40)
• Pay: $31.50/Hour
• Benefits after 90 days:
  Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medical, Dental and Vision.
• Paid Holidays and Paid Days Off

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform trailer switches according to schedule
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Check trailer numbers and verify documentation
• Report equipment damage or safety issues
• Maintain yard organization and traffic flow
• Communicate with warehouse staff and dispatch
• Follow all DOT and company safety policies

Requirements &

Experience:

• CDL-A
• 6 months tractor trailer experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• No Felonies or DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
