- 3PL Forklift Operator

• Wage: $21.45/hr + $5.09 HWB

Will work in a large warehouse environment receiving items from delivery trucks and placing items in the appropriate warehouse area. May also pick items for outbound shipments, sort inbound OCIE shipments, or manually load/unload trucks or other transporting devices; unpack, shelve, or place items in proper storage locations according to the WMS. Work is performed with relatively little supervision. At shift start, the employee will be given a handheld radio-frequency unit with LED monitor and a barcode scanner.

The unit directs the worker to the storage location and the worker must key in stock data to generate labels. Accuracy is essential, and speed is a factor. The worker must recognize discrepant 15-digit part numbers.

• Use radio-frequency stock locator.
• Report discrepancies in orders to Shipping and Receiving supervisor.
• Key in 15-digit part numbers into computer.
• Meet established deadlines.
• Maintain warehouse equipment per manufacturer standards for use and cleaning.
• Collaborate with supervisor to meet performance standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Daily use of forklift, reach truck, push carts, and motorized pallet jacks.
• Operate with a high level of accuracy.
• Enter computerized data and print tags.
• Provide training support for peers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• At least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 40 pounds moderately, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• No positive drug screen in the past 12 months.
• Reliable transportation to get between job locations.
• Individual must be able to gain and maintain necessary security clearances.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must be able to recognize discrepant 15-digit part numbers.
• Must be licensed on a forklift and a reach truck.
