Dock Worker PT - Lansing South; Cedar

Primarily responsible for performance of dock operations, but completes tasks assigned in all areas of store and warehouse not covered by cashiers, production, or repair personnel

• Inspect donations to ensure compliance with store policies
• Assist customers with unloading donations or loading purchases into their vehicles

• Shovel snow, remove ice and salt affected areas during winter months

• Maintain compliance with VOAMichigan policies and procedures
• Ensure that all duties are carried out in a timely and orderly fashion so that VOAMichigan functions in the most efficient manner possible
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to load and unload trucks and move cumbersome, heavy, or fragile items safely and effectively
• Ability to use carts, lift gates and other equipment to safely unload trucks
• Ability to become knowledgeable of storedonation policies and procedures
• Use and maintain radio/telephone and/or other company equipment
