Forklift Operator Material Handler

Overview

Position: Forklift Operator and Material Handler – Lansing, Michigan

• Perform warehouse functions which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract and ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production core hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license/certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance; highly thorough and dependable.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; ability to stand for long periods; ability to work safely.
• Flexible schedule availability across various shifts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

• Hourly Pay: $18.72 - $19.15 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $28.08 - $28.72 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 for Second or Third Shift
