Shipping​/Receiving Lead

Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Lead directs the daily activities of the shipping and receiving team, assists the Warehouse Supervisor, manages warehouse associates, and ensures all tasks are completed accurately and on time at the ALC location.

• Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to the designated shift.
• Motivate the team to meet scheduled demands.
• Coordinate with managers and leads of various departments to assure daily needs are being met.
• Perform daily clerical duties, including receipt, filing, and preparation of BOLs and pick documents.
• Close and manage jobs, update the Shipping Board, and run daily KPI reports.
• Co‑lead the training program for new associates.
• Monitor and manage material flow between warehouses and outside vendors.
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations.
• Provide additional duties as requested by the supervisor.

• Forklift, pole lift, and reach truck experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a close team environment.
