Position: Accounts Payable - Contract to Hire
Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Lantana, FL
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM

Our client in Lantana, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their accounting team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a stable, long-tenured organization. The ideal candidate is accurate, efficient, and comfortable processing high volumes of invoices in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process 25+ invoices daily with a focus on accuracy and timely payment
• Match PO invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
• Manage full-cycle AP functions including vendor payments, reconciliations, and expense tracking
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
• Process online payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Utilize Google Sheets, Docs, and Gmail for financial tracking and communication
• Learn and navigate company-specific accounting software (training provided)

Qualifications

• Prior Accounts Payable experience required; PO matching experience strongly preferred
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload
