Private Music Instructor

We are seeking a passionate, dependable, and engaging Part-Time Private Music Instructor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate loves working with students of all ages, is committed to excellence, and desires to inspire a lifelong love of music through quality instruction and positive relationships.

• Teach weekly one-on-one private music lessons.
• Create individualized lesson plans based on each student's age, ability, and goals.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment.
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and families.
• Encourage consistent practice habits and musical growth.
• Prepare students for performances, recitals, evaluations, or auditions as needed.
• Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled lessons.
• Communicate professionally with academy staff and families.
• Maintain a clean, organized teaching space.

• Proficiency in one or more instruments or voice.
• Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with children, teens, and adults.
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
• Passion for mentoring students both musically and personally.
• Ability to pass a background check.

• Two or more years of teaching experience.
• Performance experience in your primary instrument.
• Experience preparing students for recitals, competitions, or examinations.

• Part-time
• Afternoon and evening availability preferred
• Flexible scheduling based on student enrollment

• Competitive hourly lesson rate based on experience and qualifications.
