Hospice Registered Nurse, RN

Job Overview

Residential Home Health and Hospice invites applicants to join our Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) team in Lansing, MI. In this role, you will provide and manage care plans for patients in the Lansing area and surrounding communities.

• Collaborate with the hospice team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide direct patient care and support throughout the continuum of hospice services.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Allocate time to travel to patient locations, with approximately 20% of the day dedicated to driving.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, tablets, and mobile phones for patient documentation and communication.
• Adhere to critical deadlines and quality‑assurance processes.

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for patient visits.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to self‑manage time and schedule.
• Comfortable using technology such as tablets, smartphones, and EMR software.
