School-Based Registered Nurse; RN - Lapeer, Michigan

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing or a related health field required
• Active and valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license is essential
• Michigan School Nurse Certification (Interim, Standard, or Professional) preferred
• Certification with organizations such as the American Red Cross or American Heart Association to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED is highly desirable
• Ability to efficiently train others in First Aid and CPR is a significant asset

• Deliver direct clinical care and health assessments to students and staff during ESY
• Document interventions and response in compliance with school policies and state nursing guidelines
• Educate and train staff on emergency protocols, with a focus on First Aid, CPR, and AED usage
• Collaborate with administrators and educators on individualized care plans for students
• Maintain a safe school environment by proactively addressing health and wellness needs
