Hospice RN, Part Time

Overview

Residential Home Health and Hospice is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a hospice position that provides end‑of‑life care to patients in their homes throughout the Traverse City, MI area.

• Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, manage symptoms and pain, and develop individualized end‑of‑life care plans.
• Educate and support patients and families through the end‑of‑life journey, ensuring they feel informed, prepared, and deeply cared for.
• Think critically, solve problems in real time, and maintain thorough, compliant EMR documentation.
• Work independently while remaining connected to the team’s efforts.
• Travel to patient homes within the assigned territory.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Minimum two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license and ability to spend approximately 20% of the day driving to patient locations.
• Compliance with a pre‑employment drug screen, including testing for medical and recreational marijuana.
