• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care in the PACU, including patient assessment, airway management, vital signs monitoring, and recovery progression.
• Manage pain control, hemodynamic stability, and early identification of potential complications following anesthesia.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and readiness for discharge or transfer.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record accurately and in real time.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and efficient PACU turnover while adhering to hospital protocols.
• Respond to changes in patient condition with escalation per policy and participate in perioperative patient flow as needed.

• Current Michigan RN license
• 2+ years PACU experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) certifications
• Ability to work in a PACU within a hospital setting
• On-call availability: 4–6 12-hour calls per 28-day schedule, including weekends (call-only on weekends)
