County of Lapeer is seeking a Corrections Officer to maintain security, custody, and care for inmates in the County Jail under the direct supervision of a shift commander. You will process inmates through booking, conduct floor counts, and supervise inmate movements to housing units.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, some corrections experience preferred, and completion of the Michigan Local Corrections Officer Academy when required.
