Compassionate Substance Use Counseling Supervisor
We are seeking a compassionate Supervisor to oversee counselors and counselor interns providing treatment and casework services across our Bay Mark outpatient clinic. The supervisor will ensure compliance with laws, Bay Mark policies, and budgetary oversight.
Primary Job Function- Supervise counselors and intern staff complying with all applicable laws and Bay Mark policies.
- Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.
- Identify other physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
- Ensure compliance with all company and funding expectations.
- Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the company's budget.
- Travel as necessary.
- Other related duties as determined by the supervisor.
- Must hold one of the following licenses: LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LAC with a CCS.
- Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans, chart accurately, and exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, accepting attitude toward our patient population.
