Overview
OnPath Credit Union is looking for a Consumer Underwriting Supervisor to join our team. The salary range for this position is $56,159.83 to $70,199.78 based on skills and experience. This position is classified as Remote.
As a dedicated member of the OnPath FCU team, this role performs a variety of tasks that in partnership with the surrounding departments provides cost effective financial services for our members who are our primary focus. Our core values are what make us E.P.I.I.C.:

The Consumer Loan Underwriting Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Director of Consumer Lending with organizing, planning, and leading the consumer loan underwriting functions, including HELOCs, to maximize member satisfaction, efficiency and growth. Implements departmental lending operational procedures consistent with overall company policies and strategies. The Consumer Loan Underwriting Supervisor will lead and assist employees in the underwriting, funding and fulfillment of all consumer loans and HELOCs.
Conducts daily business interactions and maintains alignment with OnPath s mission, culture, and core values. Encourages others to act with mission, culture, and core values in mind always. Ensures the Consumer Underwriting team is running optimally with adequate staffing and training to perform their jobs. - Team/Product Management:

Reviews and updates all consumer underwriting procedures as necessary to ensure alignment with Credit Union policy. - Team/Product Management:

Completes team member performance reviews within established deadlines. - Team/Product Management:

Experience
:
Three to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Management experience preferred.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
: A high school degree or GED is required.
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
Other SkillsStrong decision-making skills, and high emotional intelligence is required. Proficiency in conflict resolution and effective delegation is essential.
