Position Summary
Drives sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving, stocking, and presenting merchandise with accurate and competitive pricing, ensuring proper inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting sales, assessing economic trends and community needs, and achieving sales and profit goals.
Provides customer service and assistance by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products, and maintaining a safe shopping environment. Creates and processes customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies and procedures, explains Auto Care Center automotive products and services, and ensures technicians are trained and certified on service-related procedures. Stages customer vehicles and assists with workflow as needed.
Maintains the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor and service area by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing displays, signing and pricing merchandise, securing fragile and high-volume items, maintaining equipment per company guidelines, and managing customer and merchandise claims, returns, zoning, ordering, and supplies. Monitors environmental disposal such as batteries, tires, oil and OSHA compliance.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities, builds relationships with stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and communicates goals, builds accountability, measures progress, identifies improvement opportunities, demonstrates adaptability, and promotes continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing achievements, and promoting a belonging mindset. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values and ethics, utilizes the Open Door Policy, and guides the application of business processes.
Builds high-performing teams, embraces differences, creates a workplace where associates feel supported and connected, and creates opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform.

CompensationThe annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

- At least 2 years of experience in automotive service or a related service industry field.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility if applicable.
- Completion of all required job training and assessments.
- Automotive Certification from an Automotive Technical Institute.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership obtained through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Experience in automotive service or a related field.
- Supervisory experience.
- ASE Certification.
