Read and interpret blue prints, instructions, and other documentation to plan work activities;
Determine amounts and select insulation materials (fiberglass, foam rubber, Styrofoam, cork, or urethane) based on heat retention and location;
Move materials and equipment to work locations and set up work site;
Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces or access holes with covers, sealants, tape, cement or asphalt mastic;
Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces using tape measures, handsaws, knives, and scissors
