This is a remote role, work hours are in EST.

This role involves preparing financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with SEC and GAAP guidelines. The position requires analyzing financial data, researching accounting regulations, and supporting external audits while operating under general supervision.

Qualifications:

• US GAAP-specifically ASC 606-Revenue from Contracts with Customers
• Experience with monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditors
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., Net Suite, Quick Books, Xero, Rev Pro etc.); experience using SAP is a plus.
• CPA or Masters in Accounting

Responsibilities:

• 3-5 years Prepares financial statements for internal and external users.
• Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
• Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy.
• Assists external auditors as needed.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in the area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
