Express Lube Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and fluid replacements.

• Inspect vehicle systems and components during maintenance services and report any concerns to service advisors or technicians.

• Check, adjust, and document tire pressure; rotate tires as assigned.

• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and ensure all safety items are functioning properly.

• Install new oil filters and oil drain plugs and verify correct oil type and levels.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with shop standards.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and correctly.

• Communicate clearly with teammates regarding vehicle condition, service status, and recommendations.

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and checklists accurately.

• Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive service field.

• Ability to operate basic shop equipment and electronic inspection tools.

• Prior lube or quick-service experience (preferred but not required).

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
