Middle School Assistant Track & Field Coach
The Middle School Assistant Track & Field Coach is responsible for providing instruction and coaching to students as a means of developing track & field skills and contributing to all student athlete success in the classroom and on the field. The Assistant Track & Field Coach is further responsible for ensuring and encouraging sportsmanlike conduct amongst all students and staff.
The Middle School Assistant Track & Field Coach:
Ability to use effective communication skills; robust knowledge of the sport of track & field including strategy, rules, and coaching; ability to use time effectively; good organizational skills; ability to maintain a positive relationship with other staff by collaborating and working cooperatively with them (including supervisors); knowledge of physiological, psychological, emotional and educational behavioral development of children and/or adolescents; and ability to help coaches achieve consensus.
Mandatory:
Candidate must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board (PTSB) endorsement as a Head Coach
- Track & Field, Assistant Coach – Track & Field, or a Head Coach endorsement in another sport.
Preferred: 1+ years of experience as a high school track & field coach.
Valid Wyoming teaching certification
Bachelor's degree in a related field

Environmental Requirements: encounter constant work interruptions; work cooperatively with others; work independently; work outdoors and indoors.
