Program Coordinator, Senior – Early Care & Education Center

Early Care and Education Center (ECEC) seeks a Program Coordinator, Senior to support operations and administration for the Center, ensuring high standards of clinical education and research activities. The Coordinator assists the Director in daily operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and administrative efficiency.

• Support Director in daily center management, ensuring classrooms and staffing operate smoothly.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to classroom staff; assist hiring, onboarding, and annual evaluation.
• Maintain daily compliance with state licensing, university safety standards, and NAEYC accreditation criteria; manage federal food program records.
• Manage staff scheduling and classroom coverage; oversee procurement of supplies and monitor operational budget.
• Assist data collection for program evaluations and implement professional development plans to enhance instruction.
• Serve as point of contact for facility maintenance and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for children and students.
• Support proactive family communication and coordinate community access to center resources.
• Assist in scheduling faculty research and university student placements within classrooms.

• Participate in planning, maintenance, and achievement of departmental goals.

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3 years work‑related experience.

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience in staff supervision and classroom coaching.
• Experience in a university‑based early childhood program or NAEYC‑accredited facility.
• Knowledge of state licensing regulations and federal food program requirements.
• Skill in utilizing data for classroom or program improvement.

On‑Campus. The position requires the employee to be available on campus to perform essential job functions at 7,220 feet above sea level.
