Post Doctoral Research Associate - Mathematics and Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a 1-year postdoctoral position in mathematical analysis, starting in Fall 2026. This position will offer a salary of $65,000 plus fringe benefits and provide a promising analyst with a research-focused year in a beautiful location.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Pursue an active research program in mathematical analysis.
• Collaborate with faculty in related areas and contribute to the broader mathematical community at the University of Wyoming.
• Teaching duties may be assigned (at most one course per semester).

Minimum qualifications:

• Ph.D. in mathematics (with emphasis in analysis or a closely related field) required by the start date.

Desired qualifications:

• Strong research record and potential for independent work and collaboration preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.
