We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic education professional to support young learners in a preschool classroom setting. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and staff to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and build foundational skills. Multiple positions are available, and require availability on school days from 8-11 AM. One position is available for a 10 AM-1 PM schedule.
Monday-Thursday only, but additional hours may be available.
- Support the lead teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans.
- Assist designated children during instruction, play, meals, transitions, and outdoor activities.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to children as needed.
- Encourage positive behavior, social development, and age-appropriate independence.
- Assist with classroom materials, setup, cleanup, and preparation for activities.
- Observe and report student needs, progress, and concerns to the teacher or special education staff.
- Support inclusive practices and help ensure each child feels welcomed and valued.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in early childhood education is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a classroom, childcare, or similar setting is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with children, families, and team members.
- Strong patience, flexibility, and a positive approach to supporting child development.
- Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of child safety, supervision, and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Familiarity with early learning environments and preschool routines.
- Ability to support children with a variety of learning and behavioral needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with active classroom settings and a hands-on approach to learning.

This position is based in a preschool classroom and may require standing, walking, lifting light materials, and actively engaging with children throughout the day. The role may involve indoor and outdoor supervision, as well as participation in classroom routines and activities.
