Animal Science Lab Assistant

Animal Science department.

Job location: Animal Science building.

Pay rate or range: $14.00/hour

Animal Science lab assistant for various labs.

• maintain cleanliness in departmental labs
• maintain equipment in labs
• assist with research projects if needed

• assist with departmental projects and other duties

• reliable, responsible and on-time

Currently enrolled student at UW.

Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.

Lab experience.

These responsibilities provide hands-on experience in laboratory safety, equipment maintenance, organization, and research support
, preparing students for professional roles in animal science, meat science, food science, and related fields.

On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
