JOB PURPOSE:
The Admissions Representative is responsible for introducing the University of Wyoming (UW) to prospective students and their families. This role involves providing accurate information and offering support to prospective students and families throughout the admissions process. The Admissions Representative will work with the Campus Visitor Center to help plan and coordinate schedules for groups visiting campus and participate in other recruitment events and activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with planning and coordinating visit schedules for groups visiting campus.
- Work collaboratively with campus departments, staff, and faculty in recruitment visit programming.
- Provide information about UW programs, admissions requirements, and campus life to prospective students and families.
- Respond to email and phone inquiries from prospective students, families, school groups and other stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information regarding the admissions process and/or campus visit.
- Assist in preparation of and during on-campus recruitment events.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in collecting data, preparing reports, and maintaining program files to support recruitment and admissions activities.
- Deliver presentations to prospective students during campus visits.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in higher education admissions and campus visits.
- Attend and participate in professional development workshops and conferences related to university admissions and student recruitment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree
Experience:
1-year work-related experience
Required licensure, certification, registration, or other requirements:
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
