Job Summary:

As a paid engineering intern, you will gain valuable experience in the civil engineering industry. Your responsibilities will vary with the projects and work in progress at the time of the internship, but may include assisting with civil infrastructure project development, design calculations, modeling, technical research, and plans and figures development. Candidates may also support other office activities (e.g., preparing spreadsheets, reviewing data, preparing presentations, technical training, and writing reports).

This is a temporary, non-benefited internship position.

This is a part-time, non-benefited, internship position with flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule. We’re looking for motivated junior or senior students currently pursuing degrees in engineering, or related fields.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a Civil Engineering related field
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and problem solve with guidance from supervisors
• Interest in pursuing a career in the engineering and environmental consulting industry

Performance Metrics:
Interns will focus on the following key performance areas during their internship:

1. Safety, Compliance, and Standards:

• Performs work in accordance with applicable regulations, professional standards, and internal guidance. Follows all safety procedures and company policies.

2. Technical Learning and Task Execution:

• Performs assigned technical tasks under supervision using established procedures and guidance. Demonstrates attention to accuracy, completeness, and quality in assigned work.
• Learns project workflows, documentation standards, and internal processes. Communicates progress, questions, and issues to supervisors or project leads.
