Robotics Technician

Compensation: $15–$25/hr (based on experience and skillset)

Role Overview

As a Robotics Technician, you’ll be at the core of our operations- assembling and testing crawlers, managing inventory, repairing customer units, and maintaining our 3D printing and manufacturing equipment. This role blends electronics, mechanical skills, and customer-facing tech support.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble sub-components and complete robotic systems
• Solder and wire low-voltage electronic assemblies
• Test and validate robots prior to shipment
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate 3D printers
• Log parts usage and track incoming inventory
• Conduct regular inventory audits for supply chain tracking
• Troubleshoot units and perform customer repairs
• Answer tech support calls and provide simple guidance
• Follow detailed assembly instructions and document processes

What We’re Looking For

• Strong soldering skills (or eagerness to learn)
• Good manual dexterity and comfort with small parts
• Ability to read and follow technical assembly documents
• Basic understanding of electronics and low-voltage wiring
• Familiarity with 3D printers (FDM style preferred)
• Organized, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to improve processes
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
