Tungsten Parts Wyoming Inc seeks a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead precision manufacturing of tungsten components for defense, aerospace, medical, and industrial customers. This hands-on role oversees operators, equipment, and workflow to meet strict safety, quality, and delivery standards in a small, craftsmanship-focused team. Responsibilities include managing shift schedules, monitoring machining processes, resolving production issues, training staff, and driving continuous improvement.
Ideal candidates bring strong shop-floor leadership, experience in manufacturing or machining, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and precision.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise night shift production team to meet safety, quality, and output targets
- Coordinate workflow, staffing, and machine utilization for tungsten component manufacturing
- Monitor equipment performance and work with maintenance to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards for defense and aerospace work
- Train, coach, and evaluate operators on procedures, precision, and continuous improvement
- Inspect in-process parts, verify measurements, and resolve production issues in real time
- Communicate shift performance, production reports, and handoff notes to day leadership
- Support implementation of process improvements, 5
- S, and lean manufacturing practices
- Enforce company policies and promote a strong safety and quality culture on the night shift
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on custom jobs and special run requirements
