Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Laramie, WY

Contract | Rotating Shift | Onsite

• Perform comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within scope of practice.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs.
• Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders accurately.
• Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel.
• Maintain ethical and legal accountability in all aspects of the role.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current, valid RN license in the State of Wyoming in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Current, valid BLS certification (or must obtain within 60 days of hire).
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within six (6) months of hire.
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) required within six (6) months of hire.
• Completion of a de-escalation program, procedural sedation module, and QPR training within required time frames.

• Previous experience in a clinical nursing setting.
• Previous experience in a hospital environment.
• ENPC (Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) certification highly recommended.
