Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Laramie, Wyoming. This travel, temporary assignment starts 09/21/2026 for 8 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and a rotating shift. Weekly pay ranges from $3,021 to $3,114 in a hospital setting.

- Provide and coordinate nursing care for labor and delivery patients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the scope of practice.
- Transcribe, utilize, and implement physician orders; follow established protocols and document in the medical record.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, respond to changes, and initiate appropriate interventions; operate and interpret electronic fetal monitoring as required.
- Educate patients and families about labor and delivery, pain management, newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff; ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Care for neonates on the Special Care Nursery/NICU as assigned, including routine assessments, medication administration per protocol, and family support.
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and protect patient confidentiality; stay compliant with professional and unit-specific standards.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, valid Registered Nurse license from the State of Wyoming; in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; maintain credentials throughout employment.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; maintain credential throughout employment if performing circulating or recovery duties for cesarean deliveries, as determined by the Department Director.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; maintain credential throughout employment if caring for pediatric patients.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; maintain credential while employed on units serving neonates.
- NRP certification must be maintained for assignments involving neonatal care.
- Special care nursery and NICU experience required.
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating shifts; valid for travel assignment.
