Food​/Consumables Team Supervisor

Food and Consumable associates focus on taking care of customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet customer needs. For complete job duties and requirements, see the Job Description.

• Work in the deli and provide front-line customer service, using a friendly smile to enhance the customer experience.
• Work in the bakery and help customers celebrate special moments by preparing and decorating cakes.
• Work in the dry grocery department to ensure customers find the items they are looking for.

No matter which fresh food or grocery area you work in, responsibilities include detailed cleaning of shelves and department, checking and maintaining temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser quality food products.

• Help customers find the products they are looking for.
• Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food.
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready.
