Store Manager Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support the team to provide exceptional service and guidance to customers.
• Oversee daily operations of the store including business performance and product management.
• Ensure products are merchandised according to GNC standards and are easy to see and buy.
• Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the customer relationship that leads to sales and repeat business.
• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.
• Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and managerial skills, including providing feedback to associates, recruiting, hiring, and performance management.
• Open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory count, and deposits according to GNC procedures.
• Attend community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public gatherings to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives.

• Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting below waist and above shoulders.
• Frequently required to use repetitive hand‑to‑finger motions and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally up to 40 pounds. Push/pull up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50° to 85°.
• Use a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.

Stores Managers are expected to work five (5) days per week, forty (40) hours. Specific shift requirements vary by store type (mall, strip center, downtown) and include nights, weekends, and holidays as outlined by company policy.
