Overview: A Mobile Equipment Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining all mechanical equipment throughout all MCC operations while complying with all applicable mining regulations and/or MCC policies at all times. Basic qualifications and/or traits that the Mobile Equipment Mechanic must possess include:

The responsibilities of the Mobile Equipment Mechanic include but are not limited to:
If the employee is not capable of repairing an identified deficiency, the employee's supervisor should be informed immediately so that MCC can initiate action to correct the deficient condition. Performance of corrective actions shall be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal/state regulations and company policies at all times.
Troubleshooting and repairing both diesel and gasoline powered mobile equipment. This includes repairs to drive trains, brakes (air and hydraulic), A/A. electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems. Preventative maintenance of all mobile equipment.
