Position Summary:
The Dispatcher is responsible for providing support with the student transportation services area with the specific responsibilities of processing service requests pertaining to routine and emergency maintenance issues; maintaining department records in accordance with mandated requirements, and coordinating assigned projects.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
- Ability to read and write at a level necessary to successfully perform the required duties; ability to understand and carry out both oral and written instruction in an independent manner; ability to operate two-way radio; ability to operate standard office equipment; ability to exercise good judgment; ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform required duties; ability to establish and maintain effective work relationship with those contacted to the performance of required duties.
- Knowledge of basic math skills; knowledge applicable operations and safety manuals; and pertinent policies and procedures.
