Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant role will support the day‑to‑day financial operations of the company by ensuring accurate financial records, assisting with reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This role requires a detail‑oriented and organized professional who can manage multiple accounting tasks while contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting department.

• Process and maintain daily accounting transactions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial record updates
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Maintain financial documentation and ensure records are accurate and properly filed
• Support the preparation of audit documentation and assist during external audits
• Maintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and operational needs
• Assist in improving accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Quick Books, Net Suite, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Experience with multi‑entity accounting
• Familiarity with construction, real estate, or manufacturing industries
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Progress toward CPA certification is a plus
