Border Network Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Diagnose customer needs, qualify opportunities, and support Sales in designing and closing cross-border solutions
• Educate internal teams on cross-border requirements, market trends, and operational best practices
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities that strengthen shipper experience, network performance, and service execution
• Own and develop strategic relationships with warehouse, facility, vendor, and border partners
• Conduct business reviews, site visits, and performance discussions to ensure SLA and KPI expectations are met
• Negotiate partner renewals, expansions, pricing strategies, and service growth opportunities
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-border operations, influencing internal strategy and business decisions
• Build, develop, and retain a high-quality portfolio of cross-border carriers in partnership with capacity and portfolio teams
• Monitor carrier performance across key metrics, including PTA, OTD, dwell, compliance, SOP adherence, and service expectations
• Act as the escalation point for major service issues, leading root cause analysis, recovery planning, risk communication, and partner-driven improvements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or cross-border roles involving carrier, customer, or vendor engagement
• Fluency in written and verbal English and Spanish
• Ability to travel up to 25%, (domestic and international)
