Job Summary
POSITION:
Audio Visual Technician
DEPARTMENT:
Operations
REPORTS TO:
Director of Operations
- Setup, operate, breakdown, inventory, and maintain broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment.
- Broadcast concerts and special events with A/V requirements.
- Operate equipment to support successful event production.
- Provide technical support throughout events as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in a live performing arts venue, center, or theater.
- Technical degree or certification preferred.
- Knowledge and experience working with stagehand personnel.
- Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and facility management.
- Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, state, and other work environment safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of fire and public safety issues.
