We are seeking a Interventional Radiologist for specific week-long blocks in March. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys a fast-paced procedural environment with a full support staff and no weekend call .
Assignment Timeline- Start Date: March 12, 2026
- End Date: March 23, 2026
- Credentialing:
ASAP / Expedited
- Day Shift: Monday Friday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM) with a 1-hour lunch.
- Evening Call: Monday Thursday (5:00 PM 8:00 AM).
- Weekends:
No call responsibilities for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
- Support Team: You will be supported by 3 IR Nurses and 4 Radiology Techs , allowing for rapid procedure turnaround.
- Focus:
100% Interventional. No diagnostic reading required (outside of interpretations for your own procedures). - Volume: Average of 16 cases per day .
- EMR: Cerner and Athena.
- Fistulograms & Declotting
- Biopsies (Liver, Thyroid, Renal, Abdominal Mass)
- Paracentesis & Thoracentesis
- Renal Mass Embolization
- Shoulder Arthrograms
- Tunneled HD Catheters & Central Lines
- Bone Marrow Aspirations
- Licensure: Active Texas (TX) State Medical License.
