AP​/CP Pathologist – Hospital-Based Practice

We are seeking a Board-Certified AP/CP Pathologist to join our growing hospital-based practice in Laredo, TX. This position offers the autonomy of an independent hospital role with the strong backing of a collaborative, experienced pathology team. What You Will Do:

• Sign out a wide range of anatomic pathology cases
• Provide frozen section coverage
• Oversee clinical laboratory operations and quality
• Collaborate with a dedicated onsite Pathologists' Assistant (majority of grossing performed by PA)
• Access remote digital pathology support and expert consultation
• Participate in tumor boards, hospital committees, and multidisciplinary meetings
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and hospital standards

What We Are Looking For:

• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
• Subspecialty training preferred but not required
• Eligibility for a Texas medical license
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to practice independently in a hospital setting
• Commitment to quality, compliance, and collaborative care
