Emergency Medicine Physician

An acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center in Laredo, Texas is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment starting October 1, 2026. The clinician will provide on-site clinical coverage across three freestanding emergency departments, evaluating and managing patients of all ages during 12-hour day and night shifts. This role involves working alongside APPs with no call responsibilities.

• Provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts across 3 freestanding emergency departments
• Evaluate and manage emergency department presentations spanning all age groups, from routine urgent conditions to high-acuity trauma and critical emergencies
