Job Summary
The Student Teacher Supervisor under general supervision is responsible for evaluating the performance of teacher candidates in the assigned schools in local and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities- Evaluate the performance of teacher candidates in classroom settings of local and surrounding areas.
- Complete a minimum of four formal classroom evaluations.
- Develop model lessons as needed.
- Participate in and/or conduct seminars.
- Attend department or college meetings required by the Department, Chair or Dean.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in an education-related discipline.
- Five years of experience in classroom teaching and/or non-teaching administrative position.
- Current certification in the class in which supervision – currently seeking educational diagnostician, principal or school counseling.
- Knowledge of teaching standards and assessment.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical analytical skills to provide constructive feedback and assess candidates’ performance.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct face-to-face, online, and verbal presentations.
- Ability to communicate technical information and instructions to a diverse audience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently once given a project.
- Texas Education Agency r.
- Current Texas Teaching Certification.
- Active certification as a Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T‑TESS) appraiser.

Other Requirements- Position may require occasional travel; must be able to provide own transportation to assigned schools.
- Requires campus, face‑to‑face interactions and maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
Pay: $16.00 per hour for up to 19 hours weekly.
