The Department of Mathematics and Physics invites qualified applicants to join as part‑time adjunct faculty in Physics for the Fall 2026 semester. The role includes teaching up to six semester credit hours as scheduled, holding office hours, and providing student assistance. All teaching is face‑to‑face on campus.

• Teach up to six semester credit hours in Physics courses as assigned.
• Hold scheduled office hours and assist students as needed.
• Prepare instructional materials and deliver lectures as required.
• Participate in departmental meetings and comply with academic policies.

• Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.

• Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Professional interaction with students and the public.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Capacity to work under stress and meet timelines.
• Commitment to confidentiality.

• Temporary, semester‑based appointment for Fall 2026 and related sub‑terms.
• Term begins in Fall 2026; dates to be confirmed by the department.
