Fall Adjunct Faculty (Music - Director of TAMIU Mariachi Internacional)

Texas A&M International University is seeking a Fall Adjunct Faculty member to serve as the Director of the TAMIU Mariachi Internacional ensemble. The role involves coaching and directing students in mariachi music, leading rehearsals, and providing individual or small-group instruction to enhance student development and performance. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Music, although those with a Bachelor's degree and significant professional experience may also be considered.

Previous experience coaching mariachi groups at a competitive level is preferred. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to teach up to nine semester credit hours in Music, either on-campus or online, depending on student demand. This position requires regular face-to-face interaction on campus and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students and colleagues.
