Job purpose
PHINIA is currently looking for a “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Operations Manager in our Laredo distribution center location.
Key Responsibilities Continually enforce and improve policies and procedures throughout the facility. Ensure smooth and accurate operation of the facility to eliminate/reduce discrepancies by recognizing weak areas and introducing solutions to strengthen those areas.
Provide HANDS ON leadership to site supervisors in developing and implementing programs such as:
Safety, CPI, 5S, Lean, and other programs to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Continuous improvement of the operation.
Maintain a reporting system on the performance of all functional areas to be available to customers.
Develop in coordination with the customer, a detailed site business plan, and ensure that all items in it get measured and accomplished every week. Provide hands-on…
