Commercial Loan Processor

Job Summary

The Loan Processor prepares commercial loan documents and ensures that those documents are accurate, complete, and ready for closing on schedule. The role supports loan officers throughout the closing process, focusing on credit quality and risk management while meeting customer deadlines.

• Prepare loan documents accurately and coordinate their delivery to meet scheduled closings.
• Facilitate the timely ordering of required documents (e.g., title work, compliance documents, flood certificates, appraisals) according to board policy and regulatory requirements.
• Audit loan documentation to ensure all items are in order before closing, paying close attention to detail.
• Upload loan files into the PCS system and verify accuracy of recorded information.
• Receive loan requests and input loan data into the correct processing system.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (lenders, customers, attorneys, title companies) regarding loan closing questions.
• Analyze loan documentation throughout processing to maintain data accuracy and enforce company and regulatory policies.
• Create and maintain complete loan files both electronically and in hard copy.
• Perform detailed audits of loan requests to ensure timely delivery of documents.
• Monitor loan compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Generate reports for management concerning loan processing activities and status.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Critical and analytical thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

1–2 years of related experience in commercial loan processing.
