This full-time Hairstylist-Barber role is an on-site position based at the Knockouts Haircuts & Grooming location in Laredo, TX. The Hairstylist-Barber provides high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services, including classic and modern cuts, beard trims, and other barbering and cosmetology services tailored to client preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients, recommending hair and grooming services, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, and following sanitation and hygiene standards.

The role also involves promoting products and services, building strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits, and contributing to a welcoming, professional, and team-oriented salon environment. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, is expected based on salon needs.

• Demonstrated skills in Hair Cutting and Barbering for a range of styles and hair types.
• Proficiency in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including finishing techniques and product knowledge.
• Formal training or licensure in Cosmetology or Barbering, as required by Texas state regulations.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities, with a focus on client consultation and satisfaction.
• Commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and health and safety standards in a salon environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time effectively, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous experience in a barbershop or salon setting is preferred; bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
