Managing a single high‑volume clinic or hub, where you will focus on strategic planning, personnel development, and training programs. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring the success of the clinic and the professional growth of your team.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions- Identify short‑ and long‑range physical health issues, develop and recommend comprehensive individualized physical therapy treatment programs.
- Perform physical therapy treatment programs and document patient progress/status; administer manual exercises; instruct or assist patients in performing physical therapy activities.
- Obtain and study medical histories, document patient and clinic records.
- Interview patients, understand medical history, assess physical health, and examine as needed.
- Educate and counsel patients, explain treatment plans, and promote physical health and wellness.
- Provide evidence‑based physical therapy treatments, discharge planning, and outcome tracking according to established company standards.
- Work as part of an integrated health team to provide continuity of care and develop patient‑care management plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, and infection‑control protocols and policies.
- Develop physical therapy team staff, provide training and educational growth opportunities.
- Maintain professional technical knowledge by reviewing journals, establishing networks, and participating in workshops and associations.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to recommend improvements to patient‑care practices, clinic guidelines, and workflow.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain required continuing medical education and professional development.
- Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program (doctorate preferred).
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Current, unrestricted physical therapist license to practice in Texas.
- AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
- Advanced interpersonal and counseling skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Strong deductive and inductive reasoning and observation skills.
- People‑ and time‑management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
