Certified Surgical Technician

Our client is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the operating room.

• Prepare the operating room, including the sterile field, and set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.
• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
• Manage surgical equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Maintain and manage the sterile field and specimens during surgical procedures.
• Perform sponge and supply counts to prevent retained foreign objects.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.

• New graduate or graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program.
• National certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) after passing the examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.

• $23.50-$35.20 Depending on experience
