Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position in a CT Scanner unit at a facility in Laredo, TX, requiring ARRT registration and CT registration with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• ARRT certification required
• Registration in CT required
• MRT/TMB (Texas) license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Graduated from an AMA‑accredited radiologic technology program
• Proficiency in surgical/sterile procedures and cross‑sectional anatomy
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Driver's license required for consideration

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13‑week contract
• CT Scanner unit within a freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting, with expected initial assignment at the main facility
• 9‑bed unit
• Patient population includes both inpatients and outpatients
• Procedures include CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures, as well as basic radiographic, fluoroscopy, portable, C‑arm, and OR imaging procedures
• Studies performed with and without contrast media
• EMR:
  Cerner
• Floating required
• Call required
• Block scheduling possible
• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning, basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C‑arm procedures, and OR imaging under the direction of a Radiologist
• Responsibilities include knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast and non‑contrast studies, and cross‑sectional anatomy
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
