We offer a full range of imaging services to provide patients with diagnostic and therapeutic services. Our imaging and radiology services teams work with doctors, nurses and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive care. Our digital imaging technology allows doctors to access test results immediately, so treatment can begin more quickly. Our trained imaging technologists are certified with advanced registries and are focused on patient safety and comfort.
Position's Purpose and
Essential Functions:
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at appropriate technical level. Arranges patients for radiological examinations. Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Prevents patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. Requires an associate's degree from an accredited program and registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and 0-2 years of experience.
Applicants Job Requirements Include:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology either hospital based or college degree program.
- Required: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or eligible.
- Required: BLS within 30 days of hire.
- Required: State license or certification if applicable
- Preferred: Advanced ARRT Registration.
