Job SummaryThe Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, develops, and implements individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, post-operative, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal conditions. The PT works collaboratively with physicians, physical therapist assistants, and support staff to provide evidence-based care and optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and establish individualized plans of care
- Develop treatment goals and progress patients appropriately based on clinical findings
- Provide skilled interventions including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic activities, manual therapy, and patient education
- Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and payer requirements
Communicate effectively with referring providers and interdisciplinary team members - Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff
- Educate patients regarding diagnosis, prognosis, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas (or eligible for licensure)
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
- Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Ability to manage a productive caseload in a fast-paced outpatient setting
